Sound Magic: Gong Immersion with Crystal Bowls with Sound Magic

Bloom Yoga studio has all props necessary to create your own soft nest for this experience and we encourage you to bring any props that will add to having a pleasant experience, whether it is your pillow, fluffy blanket, extra cushy mat, eye pillow etc.

John and Jitka have been co creating music experiences for 25 years. John is a degreed percussionist, Global Drum Circle Facilitation Trainer and gong artist. John teaches Japanese Taiko, West African Djembe and has studied and taught and performed all over America, Japan and Europe. John has studied with the following Master Practitioners. Don Conreaux (Gong), Mike Tamburo (Gong) Yoshikazi Fujimoto (Taiko), Leonard Eto (Taiko), Mamady Keita (Djembe), M’Bemba Bangoura (Djembe), Dr. Edgar Gangware (Percussion), Joel Cohen (Marimba) Arthur Hull (Drum Circle Facilitation) Jitka is a licensed massage therapist, Reiki practitioner and yoga instructor. Jitka was fortunate to be mentored in Western bodywork by Bob King, studied Asian bodywork modalities with Paul Fowler and Randy Cummins and studied Reiki in the Usui tradition with Neil Harris. Jitka has been a yoga practitioner for 25 years and received her yoga teaching certification in 2019 from Bloom Yoga Studio.

Sound Magic has been featured in do312, presented multiple times at the Percussive Arts Society International Conference, yoga studios, acupuncture clinics, corporate event centers, faith-based spaces and spas throughout the Midwest.
